WORLD ARTS FOUNDATION, INC. CELEBRATES 50 YEARS OF ARTS, EDUCATION AND COMMUNITY LEGACY
Join us as World Arts Foundation, Inc. (WAFI), one of Portland’s enduring African American arts and educational organizations, will commemorate its 50th Anniversary with a special community celebration on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. at the historic Hollywood Theatre, 4122 NE Sandy Blvd., Portland, Oregon. The celebration features Documentary Film, Music, Community Voices and a Tribute to Five Decades of Service.
The event is FREE and open to all ages.
The 50th Anniversary celebration will bring the community together to honor that extraordinary legacy through a documentary film screening, special guest speakers, musical accompaniment, historical reflections and memorabilia highlighting the organization’s five decades of serving Oregonians at the intersection of arts, education, history and community, creating opportunities for generations of young people, educators, musicians, artists and community leaders.
